Every two months we explore one central theme in depth through fun, hands-on and meaningful activities. This is theme based learning — and this term's theme is plants.
What children explore
- What are plants?
- Parts of a plant
- Life cycle of a plant
- Types of plants
- Plants in our lives

What children practise
Learning moves from the page into the garden. Children practise plant care, creative activities, nature walks and keeping their own plant journals.
Why one theme, in depth?
Staying with one theme lets children make connections across subjects — science, language, art and faith — instead of skimming many topics. It builds curiosity, observation skills, knowledge, creativity, responsibility and a love for nature.
When children explore nature, they discover the wonder of Allah's creation.
Try it at home
Plant a few seeds in a cup with your child and keep a simple drawing journal of what changes each day. Read about our Story & Theme Zone.
